The 6 Traits of Writing with Success! professional learning introduces the essential characteristics of writing that focus on six critical traits – ideas, organization, word choice, sentence fluency, voice, and conventions. Each trait is demonstrated through the use of dual language mentor texts. With the 15 writing activities for each trait in English and Spanish that will be provided, teachers will feel confident in knowing how to implement lessons to improve their students’ writing skills.
