ELL Program Design
- ESL Program Design
- EL Saber will provide assistance in the design or expansion of a district’s English as a Second Language Program. Districts who serve multiple language groups will identify their needs and EL Saber will develop a plan to meet the need.
- Our services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Internal Audits
- Instructional Models
- Assessment for identification and exit
- If your district has an existing program and would like to analyze its effectiveness, EL Saber can provide an internal audit of program services. The audit may be as simple or complex as needed. Examples of the internal audit are classroom observations, teacher interviews, parent interviews and a review of the systematic structure for identification of students and finally the system of instructional delivery. A comprehensive document of findings and recommendations culminate the audit.
- Program assistance can also be in the form of designing a system for identification and categorization of English language learners in elementary, middle, and high schools. EL Saber will provide step-by-step guidance for identification, categorization, assessment, and tracking of progress.
- Additionally, districts can also receive assistance and guidance on varying instructional models and how to identify the most appropriate model to meet the needs of the district’s student population. Models will vary from elementary to middle to high, however assistance will be to maximize the transition of students who move from one level to another. EL Saber will guide the district to research and correlate appropriate instructional materials to the instructional model.
- If all or some of the above indicators highlight a need for your English as a Second Language Program, we want to assist you.
